Every time I felt lonely, I would think of you. I would think about the alone times with you and how special those were. I would think about the time we sat in the lot under the sun, just being quiet. I would remember the times we shared our first loves and what we wanted from our current love. We’d walk about where we wanted to be in life and why we weren’t there – the mistakes we made along the way, some regrets.  When I felt lonely I’d remember you. I remember the beers and the talks we’d have. I remember you in a lot of what I do and who I am. I remember, and then I forget to realize that’s never going to be us again. And then I feel lonely
